Water damage in Oak Creek: a 24/7 line and a dated scope

Scope before drying

Drying starts after the scope is written. The equipment is set for the materials the scope names, and a drying plan started before the scope can miss a wet subfloor or a wall cavity.

Checks for a crawl space or lower level

A crawl space or lower level hides water, and the crew checks it early. The table shows what is checked and how it is recorded.

What the homeowner keeps

The homeowner keeps the scope, the photographs and the readings. Those three documents describe the loss, and an insurer or a later contractor will ask for them.
